Voluntary Work – Children’s’ Home

A resident from one of the Homes has been spending quite a number of hours per week volunteering at a Children’s Home this summer. This experience has not only challenged her to keep to a commitment, but it has also helped her develop skills needed when working with young children. She feels that the experience is truly enriching, as she relates that the children give her much more than what she feels she gives to them. The fulfillment she feels is the highlight of her experience.
