Several residents have participated in youth exchanges organized in previous years, and all have been extremely successful and motivational for the young people involved.
Such activities enable young people to be part of the process from beginning to end, and for this reason we have started having discussions with residents what they would like to be included in a youth exchange we may apply for in October 2016.
A short information session about Erasmus+ was also given to the residents, so that they may understand, and appreciate, the work that goes into the organization of such an activity, and the reasons behind which projects get funded.
The initial brainstorming activity has shown that many of the residents are interested in participating in different kinds of sports, getting to know different ways of lives and practicing skills for independent living. We will be taking all these ideas and will be discussing them with other organizations who will be partners in this potential project.
