Three residents had the pleasure of joining in a tree-planting event in the picturesque fields of Mgarr. Mr Malcolm Cachia, Ms Melissa Hancock, and Ms Yashmin Yanez from SRS Malta invited the residents to take part in the ‘Saggar’ project by Mr Steve Mercieca, who pledged to plant 1 million trees in Malta in 10 years. As their hands got dirty in the soil, the fresh air and winter sun rested their souls for the couple of hours spent there.
